Sometimes when you don't expect it, you get a visitor. This is Attilla the turtle ... Attilla stopped by for a visit to The Beach Cabin a few weeks ago. He was on his way to visit the vet in Freeland. We found out that he goes twice a year for his turtle check-up.
My guess is that when Dr. Parent studied to become a veterinarian he didn't expect anyone in his practice to take care of an African desert turtle.(
(tortoise? I don't know ... better find out!) Dr. Parent is the vet we take our dog to, and we've found everyone at Useless Bay Animal Clinic to be top notch, and quite worthy of helping our pets. Attilla is owned by Nikki and her husband, Luke.
